Knox County Sheriff Issues Scam Alert

      The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public about another scam.
      In this one, the thief calls relatives of recently incarcerated people telling them if they transfer funds to them, their loved ones will be released from jail.
      The sheriff’s office says you will never receive a call from the Knox County Jail telling you to send funds so that someone can be released from jail.
