The Vincennes Lincoln varsity wrestling team defeated North Knox and Sullivan in a double dual meet last night. The two wins pus the wrestlers to 9-3 on the season.
The Vincennes Lincoln C-Team went on a 15-3 fourth quarter run to defeat Evansville Central last night 42-37. Ethan Shoulders led with 14, while Cooper Battles was a big part of the L-H-S comeback, with all seven of his points in the 4th quarter.
The South Knox Lady Spartans sixth graders defeated Princeton 40-8 Brynn Leser led the way with 22 points and five steals. Overall, the sixth grade girls had 20 steals on the night.
The Lincoln High School boys and girls’ swimming and diving teams faced Terre Haute South. In the boys’ meet, Lucas Doggett won the 100 backstroke. Runnerup finishes went to Doggett and Garrett Marchal, as well as the 100 and 200 freestyle relays, and the 200 medley relay team.
In the girls’ competition, Savannah Harmon was second in the 100 freestyle, with the 200 Freestyle Relay also second. Adelynn Lange also came home with a second place in diving.
