The Indiana Department of Transportation is moving forward with plans to start the Mid-States Corridor project. The latest movement on the project was an Industry Day on Monday for materials suppliers and other potential primary contractors.
The road will start near Dale in Spencer County, and connect with I-69 at the U-S 231 interchange. The 54-mile highway will start with a 24-mile segment between Interstate 64 and State Road 56 at Haysville.
Project plans are to break ground sometime in mid-2027.
