Jasper Mayor Leaving Office in March

 Jasper Mayor Dean Vonderheide announced Monday he will step down from office March 31st to focus on his health and family.
      Vonderheide says this will allow ample time for a smooth transition and the selection of Jasper’s next Mayor.
      Vonderheide stepped forward to serve as Mayor of Jasper n 2018 filling a vacancy in the office.
      He won election to a full terms in 2019 and again in 2023.
