Indiana University’s football program is proving not just to be profitable on the field, but to the bottom line as well. I-U is still basking in the glow of its first football national championship in school history.
Indiana University professor of finance Ryan Brewer told Inside Indiana Business under coach Curt Cignetti, the program’s value almost doubled.
Part of the reason for the increase was the University’s football team becoming a national favorite. Cignetti won the national title with Indiana is just his second year as the Hoosiers’ head coach.
