The late-January winter storm that hit this area has made for hefty snow-removal bills for various municipal, county, and state street and highway departments. The City of Vincennes is no exception, after a foot of snow blanketed the area during the winter snow event.
Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum says the snow-clearing bills come in various types. Mayor Yochum also adds to that the extended time required to clear the excess snow from this system from City streets.
Warming temperatures, especially next week, could be the biggest help toward removing the excess snow that remains from the winter storm.
