The Knox County Council has approved a 15-month interlocal agreement with Good Samaritan Hospital EMS. The agreement extends the contract with Knox County and the ambulance service. Earlier, the cities of Bicknell and Vincennes also approved the 15-month pact with the ambulance service.
The shortened agreement time is due to changes brought on by the recent Indiana tax relief law. However, Council president Mike Morris says the terms are similar to previous contacts. Council members approved the agreement language unanimously.
