VWU Officials Not Expecting Flood Problems from Recent Snow Melt

Vincennes Water Utilities officials expect no major problems flood problems from snow melt on any area rivers. During the recent Vincennes Utility Services Board session, officials believe a much-lower snow pack to the north, along with slower melting, will result on much lower river rises than in previous cases. Further, V-W-U authorities did not say anything about problems on their ends through recent ice jams on the rivers.
