(Storm damage in area)(Friday 2/20/26 … tlz 6a)
A set of supercell storms caused some damge in parts of Crawford, Sullivan, and Greene counties in this area. The storms also spawned a tornado that left significant damage on the west side of Bloomington, but spared downtown and other parts of the city. However, Knox County and areas to the south were spared from any notable damage.
Crews have been assessing the damage through the overnight. More information is expected as the day goes on today./
