Work Set to Start on Broadway Place Subidvision

The Vincennes Redevelopment Commission heard ground may be broken in May for work at the Broadway Place Subdivision. Developers from Sure-Clean have changed the arrangement from single family homes to nine dublexes, and three single units. That would allow for 21 overall homes in that area.
The next step is the request a rezoning for the two-family structures. That will happen at the March 9th session of the Vincennes City Council. After that, it will go before the Knox County Area Plan Commission in April.
The subdivision is part of a countywide push to add more housing for workers currently commuting to and from Knox County to work.
