Brenda J. “Roach” Stanczak, age 83, passed away on February 27, 2026, in Freelandville, IN. Born on May 6, 1942, in Vincennes, IN, Brenda’s life was one marked by love, devotion, and the warmth of family and friends that surrounded her.
Brenda spent her formative years in the community of Vincennes, where she graduated from high school. She married the love of her life, Ronald Stanczak Sr., on July 28, 1962. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, joy, and the hustle and bustle that comes with raising a family.
Brenda will be remembered as a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. It was here, within the walls of their loving home, that she left her mark. She effortlessly blended the roles of wife, mother, and later, grandmother and great-grandmother, crafting memories that her family will hold dear forever.
Survived by her beloved children, Deana Harris (Trent), Ron Stanczak Jr. (Cindy), and Tracy Stanczak, Brenda’s legacy continues through her two cherished grandchildren and four precious great-grandchildren. Brenda faced the loss of her husband, Ronald Stanczak Sr., who preceded her in death, as well as her parents, Arlie and Viola Roach.
Brenda’s sense of community extended beyond her immediate family. She was an active member of the Bicknell French Club, where she formed many friendships. Her faith was central to her life, and as a member of the Catholic church, she found comfort and fellowship that sustained her throughout her years.
Though she will be greatly missed, Brenda J. “Roach” Stanczak’s love and teachings are her enduring legacy, a light that will guide her loved ones through the days ahead. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever be a source of joy and love.
