The Indiana Department of Transportation advises that State Road 57 near Switz City in Greene County is scheduled to be closed on or around Tuesday of next week for the completion of a bridge deck overlay project.
State Road 57 will be closed between County Road West 100 South and County Road West 200 South.
Additional roadway improvements are also planned during the closure.
Work is expected to last through the beginning of June, depending on the weather.
The official detour will be State Road 54 to State Road 67 to State Road 58.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
