The Indiana Supreme Court has upheld COVID-19 immunity for hospitals and medical providers.
They ruled unanimously that they cannot be held liable for complications that developed when they were treating patients with COVID-19.
The estate of Elmer Waggoner and his wife filed a lawsuit seeking damages, alleging negligence by over 80 hospitals, doctors, and other health providers.
