The Vincennes Community School Board has approved three separate grants for use by various corporation groups.
The first is a Formative Assistance Grant for kindergarten through second grade. The grant is worth just over 11-thousand 500 dollars; it is designed to diagnose dyslexic children.
The Board also approved a High Ability grant for over 38-thousand, 500 dollars. That grant is for identifying and teaching high ability students, as well as prepare for high-ability academic competitions.
Finally, Board members approved nearly six-thousand dollars for a Robotics grant. That is for V-C-S-C teams to compete in various robotics competitions. The competition funding will go to both Lincoln High School, and Clark Middle School.
Board members approved the grant awards unanimously.
