The interim coach at Washington High School will not take the job permanently. Coach Brandt Schuckman is stepping down after taking over at mid-year for the Hatchets.
Schuckman pointed bo both family responsibilities and business interests as his reasons for not seeking the job permanently. He went 7-3 in his interim stint with the Hatchets, and has been part of the coaching staff for the last 21 years. At this time, Schuckman will remain a volunteer assistant with Washington’s basketball program.
