The Knox County Commissioners have decided to keep their ten-ton load limit on County roads in place for at least another week. At Tuesday/s Commissioners’ session, Commissioners’ president T-J Brink says in part, cold conditions at that time led to the decision. Also, Brink says the warming weather we are seeing now, combined with heavy truck traffic, could damage vulnerable county roads.
Anyone who spots potholes forming on Knox County-maintained roads should report them to the Knox County Highway Department as soon as possible. Anyone seeing similar potholes in Vincennes may report them through the City’s phone app to the Vincennes “Pothole Patrol.”
