Knox County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Bicknell woman overnight on various charges.
Deputies pulled over 46 year-old Megan Smith on State Road 67 near Fairview Drive. Authorities claim she was driving recklessly when stopped. A further investigation claims she was operating while intoxicated. A search also turned up meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in her possession.
Smith was booked into the Knox County Jail on five-thousand dollars bond.
Vincennes Police arrested a Vincennes man overnight following a call to the 1000 block of Bayou.
Officers arrested 30 year-old Matthew Patton on a parole violation charge. Patton is also charged with operating while intoxicated, obstruction of justice, and possession of both a syringe and drug paraphernalia. He is being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.
A New York City man was returned to Knox County last night to face various identity deception and other chargers.
Ruiz Martinez was moved from the Jackson County Jail back to Knox County to answer for charges of counterfeiting, identity deception, and theft. He was booked into the Knox County Jail.
