A Vincennes man is facing charges after leading Indiana State Police on a high-speed chase in Knox County that reached speeds of over 150 mph.
The pursuit began Friday morning when 39-year-old Ethan Stantz refused to pull over for a state trooper after being clocked at 115 mph on US 41 near Vincennes.
The chase continued onto US 50 and ended near Wheatland when police lost sight of his vehicle.
Later, police found his vehicle at the Angle Inn in Washington and found Stantz inside the bar.
Stantz is now being held in the Knox County Jail on preliminary charges of Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle and Reckless Driving.
