Knox County’s public school corporations I-LEARN proficiency scores in English and Language Arts have been released by the state of Indiana.
North Knox Schools had the most students above state English proficiency standards, with 40.1 percent over the state average. South Knox was next, at 38.1 percent. Vincennes Schools rated at 31 and a half percent over state proficiency for grades 3 to 8 Scores for other area corporations wree similar to the Knox County numbers.
Overall, statewide, the Department of Education reports the overall proficiency rates were up some over 2021.
