The annual “Vincennes’ Night Out” will be held just under two weeks from now– on Tuesday, July 30th. The event is the same as the annual “National Night Out,’ but the date was changed from the national date, due to a scheduling conflict.
The back to school themed event is put on each year by the Vincennes Police Department. V-P-D chief Jon Hillenbrand says even with the date change, Vincennes’ Night Out is a great way to help close out the kids’ summer break.
As in previous years, Vincennes’ Night Out is completely free and open to the public.
