Indiana Conservation officers have updated information on a juvenile found drowned in the Wabash River yesterday.
The body was identified as that of a five year-old girl. She was reported missing around two-40 p-m; her body was recovered just less than five hours later near the park’s boat ramp. Authorities say she was playing in the Wabash River when she went missing.
One person– 26 year-old Deonna Hollingsworth– was arrested for neglect of a dependent resulting in death. The investigation into the incident continues.
