The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says a fourth person has died from injuries received in a two-vehicle head-on collision on Monday, May 27th on I-69.
The sheriff’s office says 68-year-old Jeffrey Richardson of Lakeland, Florida died from his injuries on June 5th.
Richardson was the only occupant of a pick-up truck involved in the crash.
Richardson was traveling southbound in the northbound lane when the collision occurred.
Three people in the other vehicle died at the scene: 30-year-old Chelot Corelien from Washington, 29-year-old Tenisha Thompson from Washington, and a third adult male passenger.
The sheriff’s office says although many members of our community are aware of the identity of the third passenger, it can’t make his identity public pending further investigative steps.
