James Finley appeared in court Wednesday morning for a hearing to change his plea in the shooting of his step-father, Stephin Flowers. Finley is accused of domestic battery in the December 20th, 2022 shooting of Flowers at a home on Joice Street in Vincennes.
Finley faces the charge after shooting Flowers in the leg during an alleged argument in December 2022 over the family pet’s treatment. His sentencing hearing is set for July second in Knox Circuit Court.
