George Rogers Clark National Historic Park officials are awaiting the arrival of the park’s new Superintendent. Christensen is expected in Vincennes within the next couple of weeks.
G-R-C chief ranger Joe Herron says the new Superintendent is tying up some loose ends in his current training job at Grand Canyon National Park. As for the current season, Herron wants to bring back a popular basement tour to the Clark Memorial.
Martin Christensen will take over from interim Superintendent Vance Noles. The last permanent Superintendent of the G-R-C prior to Christensen was the retired Frank Doughman.
