The Knox County Public Library has signed up 558 people as part of their annual Summer Reading program. That program is over a century old; that is run out of the main Library building at Seventh and Hart Streets in Vincennes.
So far, th readers have spent almost 187-thousand minutes reading combined. Of th ose signed up, the majority– over 300– are kids 12 and under. 111 adults are also involved, along with 22 teens. The current year numbers are as of earlier this month; the program itself contnues through the end of July
