Finishing work continues on Hart Street this week. The Hart Street project reduced the previous four-lane setup to three lanes between 15th Street and Veterans’ Memorial Drive. However, Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum reminds everyone the “road diet” does not extend eastward past Veterans’ Drive.
Work last night centered on Kimmel Road from Hart Street back toward Ford Road. Mayor Yochum says some other surface and painting-related work is also set for this week.
In an update released yesterday, the Mayor stated he expects the entire project to be complete by July fourth.
