Even as work continues on Washington Avenue Phase One, a new step has been taken toward work on Washington Avenue Phase Two. That phase will improve Washington Avenue from Emison Avenue to St. Clair Street.
The approval was for a right of way engineering, surfacing, and staking contract with Schneider Geometrics for 15-thousand, 750 dollars. The move was approved unanimously. Work on Washington Avenue Phase Two is set for 2027.
