Knox County Sheriff’s officials are still investigating a weekend burglary at the Casey’s convenience store near Oaktown.
Around 1 a-m Saturday, someone broke into the store after it had closed. The suspects had broken the glass on the front door to get into the store. Once inside, they took around 900 dollars worth of merchandise, and did around 11-hundred dollars in damage to the front door.
Security cameras showed three overall suspects– including two inside the store. A third reported person was outside the store– presumably as a lookout for the other two.
No arrests have been made in the case yet. The Knox County Sheriff’s Department is actively investigating the incident.
