Fire Departments Help Kids, Families During National Fire Safety Week

Knox County students are learning about fire safety as part of Fire Safety Week. the fire safety activities continue through the end of this week.
Vincennes Fire Department chief Brett Bobe points out the theme this year concerns a first line of defense against structure fires. Andrew McNeece is also with the Vincennes Fire Department. He knows even though the detectors have upgrades, homeowners still need to check them at regular intervals.

The idea of informing students of fire safety is ho ping the kids will also get the message to parents, to educate the whole family.
