Just about one month remains for you to purchase a wreath to honor veterans as part of “Wreaths Across America.” In Knox County, the cause is supported jointly by the Vincennes Rotary and Kiwanis clubs.
Keith Doades is with the Vincennes Kiwanis. He says there are thousands of veterans they want to honor with the wreath=laying.. This is the 8th year for the Wreaths Across America effort in Knox County. Doades knows they have covered a good number of the veterans’ gravers over the years– but by no means all of them.
The wreaths will be laid out on December 14th, and stay in place through the first couple of months of next year. Wreaths are 17 dollars each; they are available locally through the Vincennes Water Department, and online at wreathsacrossamerica-dot-org.
