The Triple A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana Monday stood at $3.07 a gallon, a penny lower than Sunday and 11 cents lower than Monday’s national average.
Indiana’s average was also 15 cents lower than a week ago, 12 cents lower than a month ago, and 18 cents lower than a year ago. In Vincennes, some sub-3 dollar a gallon gas is being sold. However, most stations still have prices ranging from 3-02 to three=ten a gallon.
Triple A also says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana Monday was $3.72 a gallon, the same as Sunday.
It was also three cents lower than a week ago, a penny higher than a month ago, and 65 cents lower than a year ago.
