Work crews have been busy improving the inside of the George Rogers Clark Memorial. The monument is the centerpiece of the George Rogers Clark National Park in downtown Vincennes.
One place needing repairs is the metal doors entering the Memorial itself. G-R-C Chief Ranger Joe Herron says over the years, two of the three doors don’t even open.
The current projects join with a recent replacement of the buildings H-V-A-C unit, as part of a preservation of the historic remembrance monument.
