The deadline has passed to apply for a mail-in ballot for the November election.
In Knox County, Clerk David Shelton estimates he has approved just over 650 mail in ballots for the November 5th general election. Of those, over half have already been filled out and mailed back.
Anyone who has a mail-in ballot, and who has not sent it back in, has until Electopn Day to do so. No mail ballots will be counted, if they are received after Election Day, November fifth.
