Music teacher and band director Bill Marsh is the 2024 recipient of the Philip Shelton Humanitarian Award, presented by the Vincennes Kiwanis Club in cooperation with Good Samaritan Hospital.
Marsh has been a music educator in the Vincennes Community School Corporation for 32 years, teaching at Clark Middle School and Lincoln High School.
He has led the Lincoln High School “Pride of the Green” marching band to the state marching band finals 14 times.
The Vincennes Kiwanis Club will honor Marsh during a ceremony starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 10th at the Charles Hedde Education Center at Good Samaritan Hospital.
The event is free and open to the public.
