Vincennes Merit Commission Re-Starts Hiring Process fort Three Openings

The Vincennes Police Merit Commission is planning a hiring process to fill three openings on the Vincennes Police Department. Police Chief Jon Hillenbrand made that announcement during yesterday’s Vincennes Board of Works session.
At this point, Commission members feel they have enough applicants to hold their next testing process. Hillenbrand feels that will happen sometime before the end of the year.
Applicants must pass a physical agility test, and then a written test, to be considered for a spot on the Vincennes Police force.
