Even though it isn’t quite Halloween yet, the City of Vincennes is doing some Christmas preparations at this time.
Vincennes’s fourth annual “Christkindlmarkt” will be held December 6th and 7th at Patrick Henry Square. The merchandise-based event will run from four to seven on Saturday, December 6th, and ten to four on Sunday, December 7th. The City of Vincennes is allowing the closure of both Market Street and Patrick Henry Square for the two-day event.
Also, City crews will get together to string lights on the City’s Christmas tree. As in the last few years, the tree will be one already standing in Patrick Henry Square. City crews will just string the tree at this time; the actual tree lighting will take place closer to Christmas.
