A new survey from a pollster allegedly shows “overwhelming” support among Indiana residents for legalization of marijuana.
The survey was published by Safe and Regulated Indiana, a new coalition pushing for cannabis reforms in Indiana. The group says 70-percent of people either strongly or somewhat support legalizing marijuana use for people 21 and older, while just 27-percent oppose the idea.
Indiana is surrounded by Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan with legalized marijuana use and Kentucky to the south has legalized medical marijuana.
