The annual Vincennes Christmas Parade of Lights is set for 6:30 this Friday night on Main Street. The parade lines up on First Street, and continues through downtown up Main Street from First to Tenth Streets.
This is the 26th annual Christmas Parade of Lights—but will be the first-ever not leaded by Marc McNeece. However, McNeece believes the parade is in good hands with the Knox County Chamber of Commerce. Even though he won’t run the parade, McNeece says he and other City Council members will help with the parade itself,
The two largest requirements ar that each parade entry be lit, and no live Santa Clauses are allowed. That is because as usual, Santa Claus will be the final entry in the Christmas parade. Typically, a crowd of over ten-thousand crowds the parade route up and down Main Street each year.
