Warmer weather is in the area now—but the brutal cold and snow earlier in the month has left its mark on City streets.
Vincennes City Council president Brian Grove says one constant with cold weather followed by warmer conditions is potholes.
As the most recent winter storm struck Vincennes, City leadership had an “all hands on deck” strategy to help City street crews keep Vincennes’ roadways safe. Grove knows Street Superintendent Jeff Wood was thankful for the help.
City officials are also ready when—and if—another major ice or snowfall may hit the area. Some milder winters in the last few years have allowed good stockpiles of road-clearing material to be on hand.
