Patoka State Representative Matt Hostettler has authored a bill to add more funds for roadside mowing on U-S 41. The extra funds would cover mowing from near I-64 northward to the Sullivan County line. That wou ld cover the 41 corridor in both Knox and Gibson counties.
Hostettler is seeking the extra funds to ensure other INDOT money can be freed up for infrastructure-related projects. He also said the extra money would not change the Indiana Department of Transportation’s current mowing procedure.
Hostettler’s bill is being heard in the House Roads and Transportation committee.
