The United Way of Knox County’s VITA tax program dropoffs start tomorrow. The program is designed to provide tax assistance to those wanting it. The VITA program will again work through the libraries in Vincennes and in Bicknell. Packets are available now for completion through both library locations.
Those seeking VITA assistance may drop off their completed packets starting February first at the Knox County Public Library in Vincennes. The drop off dates and times there are 10 to 12:30 each Saturday starting tomorrow. The packets will also be collected on the eighth, 15th, and 22nd at the Knox County Public Library.. The other drop off site will be the Bicknell-Vigo Public Library in Bicknell. That collection will be on one day only– from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, February sixth.
Those interested can fill the packets out, and return them on the program dates. The completed forms will be returned to the clients the following Saturday after drop-off. More information Is available by calling the United Way of Knox County at 812-882-3624.
