The Indiana Senate passed a measure Monday to offer grants to Indiana sheriff’s departments that sign agreements with ICE.
Senate Bill 430 would allow the Indiana Department of Homeland Security to offer federal grant money to the sheriff’s departments who sign.
The agreement allows ICE to delegate immigration officer duties to state and local law enforcement.
