Vincennes Board of Works Awards E and B Paving’s Low Bid for City Work

The Vincennes Board of Works has awarded this year’s City paving contract to E and B Paving. E and B had the lower of two bids for the work, with a final bid of around one million, 20 thousand dollars. The bid barely beat out Milestone Paving’s offer of one million, 87-thousand dollars.
E and B Paving will begin the work with sustained warmer weather. Among the largest projects this year is a re-paving of Main Street from First to Seventh Streets. The largest part of that work will be on Main between Sixth and Seventh, due to needed removal of some old buried trolley ties.
