Daviess County Sheriff’s Officials Looking for Suspect in Shooting

Daviess County Sheriff’s officials are seeking a suspect in a shooting this morning at a home on U-S 231 near the Daviess-Martin County border.
The call came in for a man injured by multiple gunshot wounds. The un-named male victim was taken to Daviess Community Hospital. From there, he was moved to another medical facility, where he is listed in stable condition.
The suspect is identified as 35 year-old Alexander Carlquist. He is a 5 foot, 11 inch white male driving a silver 2004 Jeep Liberty with a license plate C-H-J 385. He could also be driving a silver 2009 Ford Focus, with the plate C-P-Q 532. The suspect has ties to Perry County. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.
