Duke Energy Foundation Gives Donation to First City Sunrise

The Duke Energy Foundation has given two thousand dollars to the United Way of Knox County, to assist with their emergency shelter program. The funding will pass through the United Way to the organizing group First City Sunrise.
The emergency shelter can help up to 20 people at a time with overnight accommodations. The program is by referral to the shelter. First City Sunrise is part of the overall Knox County Homeless Task Force.
