Concerns Raised About Timing of Sewer Line Extension South of Vincennes

The Knox County Indiana Economic Development Corporation is looking at how federal and state changes may affect a sewer extension grant. The grant, along with a local match, would extend a sewer line southward from the 41 Industrial Park to a main near the former Essex Wire plant.
K-C-I-E-D director Chris Pfaff gives the idea behind extending the line. The project was approved and funded as part of the first round of Indiana’s READI grants. However, Pfaff says the holdup is with funding on the federal level.
