Daviess County had a jobless rate of 3.5% in January, seven tenths of a percent higher than January of 2024.
Dubois County had an unemployment rate of 3.6% last month, up six tenths of a percent from the year before.
Martin County’s rate of 3.7% was four tenths of a percent higher than January of 2024.
Gibson County’s unemployment rate was also 3.7%, nine tenths of a percent higher than the previous year.
Knox County’s unemployment rate was 4.1% last month, a half percent higher than one year earlier.
Sullivan County had a jobless rate of 4.5% in January, a tenth of a percent lower than the year before.
Pike County’s rate of 4.7% was seven tenths of a percent higher than January of 2024.
And Greene County’s unemployment rate stood at 5.4% last month, six tenths of a percent higher than one year earlier.
The average jobless rate of Indiana’s 92 counties in January was 4.5%.
