Irreverent Warriors Silkies Hike Set for June

The Knox County group Irreverent Warriors will have their first “Silkies Hike” on June 28th at nine a-m. The hike will begin at the Indiana Military Musum, and will go through Vincennes. Registration will be an hour earlier, at eight that morning.
The length will be from eight to 14 miles. Silkies are traditional military physical training shorts; they will be worn to help promote an environment of humor and camaraderie.
The group Irreverent Warriors’ goal is to improve mental health, and eliminate veterans’ suicide.
