U-S 50 Lane Closures Come Into Place

Alternating lane closures begin today on U.S. 50.
      They will take place over Fort Knox Drive near Vincennes.
      The closures will allow for the replacement of a bridge deck on the eastbound bridge of U.S. 50.
      One lane of traffic will be open in both directions.
      Eastbound traffic will utilize a cross-over to use westbound lanes.
      Fort Knox Drive will be closed between Old Terre Haute Road and Fort Knox Drive.
      The lane closures are part of Phase 2 of a project to replace both east and westbound bridge decks.
