After a rainy stretch, farmers are heading back into the fields again. Drier overall weather, with a bit of a warmup possible, will stir planters back into area fields.
Knox County Purdue Extension educator Valerie Clingerman says even with some wetness in southern Indiana, planting is pretty much on schedule. Clingerman expects a lot of farmers, and farm equipment, out and about with an expected dry-down.
Drivers—especially in rural areas—are reminded to use caution around slow-moving farm equipment in the current planting season.
